location practical

During the planning phase of our trailer, it came to our groups attention that we will need multiple locations to film in during the entirety of the trailer. This is because we are using loads of different shots in a Montague of fast pace editing. This means we will need to scout out and locate loads of effective and easy to get to locations.

In our story board one key part of the trailer is a tree. This tree will need to be filmed with leaves on and also without no leaves. this means as we are filming in the winter season we will need to find one worth leaves still on so we can film it both before and after. This is a very important part of our film so we need to consider it carefully.

I have found multiple trees in my local area that would be good for the shots for a multitude of reasons. The first reason would be because of there location. They are easy to get too as they are located in mote park which is near our school. They also have large fields behind them this means there will be astatically pleasing backgrounds to these shots. The only problem that i could see effecting the shot is noise. This is because there is a skate park quite near the trees and this means the sounds of boards may tarnish the shots we will film. Even though this is a possibility it is low, this is because it is a winter season and there is often rain and mud coating the park which works in our favour because people will not be using it.

The picture on the bottom right is the tree I am thinking of using. There are many branches and it has a field behind it. If the camera is positioned correctly it means that the skate park will not be seen in shot and neither will the fence. All the other pictures are other trees in the near by vicinity to the other tree but all of these are packed together and the effect I want is the tree to be the only thing in shot meaning the bottom right tree will be the best in my eyes to use.
