Costume Practical

                 Costume Practical

Costume 1:

This picture shows a suitable costume for the main character, whom will be played by me. In the picture I am wearing reflective trainers, tracksuit bottoms, a crew-neck and a hat. This outfit could be used as it is very similar to that of a stereotypical drug dealer.

Costume 2:

This costume could also be used to represent our character as a gang member or drug dealer. This is due to the effective use of black and darker colours which conform to this stereotype. In this photo I am wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black hoodie and a black hat. This effectively conforms to the common costume of criminals such as gang members and drug dealers as they wear hoods to conceal their identities and also they wear the colour black as they normally work at night and they want to be as low-key as possible by wearing black to blend in with the dark.

Costume 3:

This costume is more suitable for the character of a drug dealer. In the photo I am wearing joggers, trainers a hoodie, a hat and also a man bag.In taking this picture, I was experimenting with the lighting and therefore used flash on my camera. I believe that this outfit is the best out of the three due to the use of a man bag, in which are also known as drug bags used by dealers to carry small amounts of drugs in which they are selling.

In conclusion, when doing this practical i noticed a very common trend of the use of hats and hoodies, and also the use of dark colours when creating and piecing costumes that will be suitable for the representation of drug dealers and gang members.
