Train station: Lighting checks/experiment (practical)

Train station: Lighting checks/experiment (practical)

The photos above were taken in Bearsted, just outside the train station. In order to take these pictures, I got my friend Zak to light a cigarette. I stood on the stairs that led to the location of the picture, so that I could get ideas for angles for when we shoot our filming for our final piece. I feel like this would be a good location for a drug deal as we could go there at night (to give us the dark background) to get the effect we are looking for, the light also adds to this effect as it is a gloomy yellow, this contrasts with the darkness and makes sure that the camera is able to see the shots being filmed.

Picture 2

These two photos are taken in the same position and location. They were both taken near the top of the stairs at Bearstead train station. Picture 1 shows the shot i took but with the flash being used, whereas picture 2 shows the natural lighting, without the flash and only the use of the lampposts at the station. These pictures give us an idea of the amount of lighting we need, especially if we are filming at night.
