Typography Deconstruction of Urban Dramas

 

For this task I am going to look at different types of typography for the titles used in Urban dramas films which will hopefully give us an idea on what type of typography to use for our trailer titles and name.

 

 

By looking at types of typography styles and text used I now have a better idea and picture of what ours should be for our trailer. I like the name 'Off the Rails' as shows the boys life who its focused on has gone wrong and changed, other titles include the words such as 'hood' we are subverting the representation of urban dramas by not including this word. The maximum words used commonly in the title is 3 words, this means ours would fit in with this an urban drama titles are usually quite shot.  I have also noticed the trend that the titles are bold and usually white and black which I think we will make ours like as it seems like a common convection. By doing this task we have been able to create our title which we are going to use for our trailer.
